Who we are
This site and its tools are published by the operator of Halfanvil, an independent developer established in Romania, referred to as "Halfanvil", "we" or "us". The operator's full legal identity and address are available on request through the contact form.
Acceptance
By using the halfanvil.com website or any Halfanvil tool, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Halfanvil.
What Halfanvil does
Halfanvil builds small automated tools for small businesses, sold as monthly subscriptions. The first tool, the Halfanvil Search Report, asks AI assistants questions a buyer might ask, counts how often your business is named in their answers, lists the sources they read, and suggests one action per source. It is delivered as a web page and a monthly email.
Tools ship incrementally. The site tells you what is available.
No guarantee of results
We measure what third-party AI assistants answer at the time we ask. Their answers change, vary from one run to the next and are outside our control. We do not guarantee that your business will be mentioned, ranked or recommended by any assistant, search engine or website, and suggested actions are general information, not professional advice.
Eligibility and accounts
Halfanvil is for businesses and people acting for a business. You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the business details you give us.
Your data and content
You own the business details you give us. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them in order to provide the service to you. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions
- Paid tools require a subscription bought on halfanvil.com.
- Payments are processed by Stripe, with Link as the seller of record. The seller of record issues the invoice, collects applicable VAT and handles refunds under its terms and the consumer laws that apply to you. You can ask for a refund within 60 days of a payment.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Prices are shown before purchase, without VAT, and may change for future periods with notice. Founding prices stay as long as the subscription stays active.
Third-party services
Reports are built from answers given by third-party AI assistants. ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity are trademarks of their respective owners. Halfanvil is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them.
Acceptable use
- Use Halfanvil lawfully and only for businesses you own or are allowed to act for.
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the service or its APIs.
- Do not share your account or resell access.
Termination
You can stop using Halfanvil and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse. If we discontinue a tool, we will give reasonable notice and refunds for any unused prepaid period will be handled through the payment provider.
Disclaimers and liability
Halfanvil is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, the accuracy of third-party answers, or that the service fits your goals. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for business outcomes arising from decisions you make, or for data loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your mandatory consumer rights.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence.
Changes
We may update these Terms. When changes are material, we tell subscribers by email before they apply. The effective date at the top tells you which version you are reading.
